Molly passed her certification exam making it possible to attain a better job. With her increase in pay comes more time to spend with her children, in turn supporting their academic success.

Howard filled out forms at the doctor’s office on his own for the first time. Just one of the many goals he worked for with his tutor to maintain his independence. 

Olga worked to improve her English making it possibel for her to better communicate with her child’s teachers. Her improved English also made it possibel for her to help children with their homework. 

Mr. C. began working with his tutor to write his life story. He hid his literacy struggles along with the emotional scars of his childhoon most of his life. Now he no longer hides. He says he feels seen and is healing as he shares his stories.
